Edenspace

Edenspace seeks to become a leading supplier of seed and technology to the renewable fuels industry, helping to reduce the cost of cellulosic ethanol with improved energy crop feedstocks. The company has been awarded more than $2.8 million in energy crop development funding from the U.S. Department of Energy and has signed key development agreements with the U.S. National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), USDA, and the leading ethanol design/build firm, ICM, Inc. In early 2008 Edenspace is moving its headquarters and energy crop development to a new, 20,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility in Junction City, Kansas.


ESI

ESI was formed in 1998 to capitalize on a patented electroforming process for producing innovative endovascular medical devices. ESI continues to invent, develop, and deliver novel and workable endovascular solutions that meet critical medical needs and allow ESI to remain relevant in the rapidly evolving medical device market. For example, ESI’s electroformed cardiac stents led to the development of drug eluting stents, pleated aneurysm stents, and most recently, the X-cluder, an eloquent solution designed for the treatment of neurovascular aneurysms. ESI’s current strategy entails leading the X-cluder through bench, animal and human testing, and the Food & Drug Administration approval process in order to commercialize the technology and create value for shareholders.


HS Sports TV

HS Sports TV, Inc.’s mission is to become integral to the High School Sports entertainment sector by providing schools and student athletes with recruitment and promotion opportunities. HS Sports TV, Inc. has created the first of its kind premier high school sports website. This was done by creating a specialized and proprietary customer communication interface and Content Management System product. HS sports TV’s strength is specialized content web pages for every High School in the United States. These specialized web pages are for each schools use to showcase and rebroadcast ALL their athletic events.


Nuvio

Nuvio is a leading provider of internet based business phone systems, otherwise known as hosted PBX. Utilizing an innovative Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology platform, they offer feature rich communications services to small to medium sized businesses that eliminate the need for traditional telecommunications services and business phone systems. The executive team is comprised of “serial entrepreneurs” and the CEO and COO have extensive technical, legal and financial backgrounds. In addition, both are veterans of startup technology companies and have successfully led Nuvio from being a development company to a revenue producing company that is EBITDA positive.

Open Methods is a market leader pioneering the creation and integration of voice-based self-service enterprise solutions. Utilizing OpenMethods’ unique application development platform - openVXML™, companies can write applications that are easily managed and extended to support Voice and Internet based communication. The company’s technologies, applications and services make the user experience more compelling by transforming the way people interact and share information. Founded in 2003, the company was nominated in 2004 and 2005 for the Kansas City Small Business of the year.


Pulse NeedleFree Systems, Inc.
Pulse NeedleFree Systems, Inc. has developed a line of proprietary needle-free drug injectors for use in high performance multi-dose applications. The company’s injection systems seek to address a market need, present in both animal health and human health markets, for a cost effective means of delivering large numbers of injections quickly and safely. The company’s animal health injection systems are designed for use in confinement animal production operations. The company’s human health injection systems target high volume, mass immunization settings where speed, safety and efficiency are critical.

ReNew Systems Group
ReNew Systems Group was initially formed to manufacture and distribute the ReNew ZCoat® line of water based coatings for ReNew Refinishing Systems, Inc, RSG is expanding to meet the opportunities provided through our Alliance Partners (Element One, ReNew Refinishing and Insignia Coatings) through direct licensing and/or distribution agreements in specialty market segments that individually maximize our core competencies; while creating growth opportunities using patented or trade secret protected solutions unique to RSG.

Verrow Pharma

Verrow Pharmaceuticals, LLC, is actively developing safer formulations of existing drugs based on Dr. Vernon Rowe’s patent-pending discovery of the nephroprotective properties of a particular class of substituted cyclodextrins (SCDs). Verrow’s extensive preclinical studies have shown that the nephrotoxicity of many powerful drugs can be greatly reduced when these SCDs are added as an excipient, creating unique proprietary formulations under a patent application which has already been filed. This discovery grew out of Dr. Rowe’s desire to make intravenous methotrexate safer for multiple sclerosis (MS) patients.
