isi recycling services seeks to build the first commercially available carbon fiber recycling facility in the United States. Carbon fiber-containing composite materials are rapidly replacing the use of steel. Waste generated during manufacturing must be placed into landfills, because it is difficult to separate the carbon fiber from the composite matrix. iSi Recycling Services, in partnership with Adherent Technologies, has the technology to recover and resell the carbon fiber so it can be remanufactured into products used by medical, electronic, automobile, energy, aviation and recreation industries. iSi Recycling Services is a sister company to iSi Environmental Services, which has been recognized locally and nationally for its performance in business and the environmental industry. |

Engineering Corporation’s (PE CORP) patent-pending Artificial
Intelligence Traffic Signal system solves many of today’s most
visible traffic problems. PE CORP’s real-time traffic detection
and optimization system improves timing of traffic signals and thus
trims traffic delays by up to 60%, reducing gridlock, commute times,
infrastructure expansion needs, fuel consumption and vehicle emissions.
While several competitors have deployed a variety of devices to either
detect traffic or improve signal timing, PE CORP is the only known supplier
of a holistic, end-to-end system that combines both detection and optimization
processes using functionality not currently offered by any competitor
in the marketplace. The system integrates seamlessly with existing traffic
signal infrastructure, and municipalities in KS, MO and AR have deployed
25 instances of PE CORP’s solutions with great success. PE CORP’s
revenue for FY 2007 was $224,488. By the end of 2008, PE CORP would
have deployed 66 units with purchased orders received for $1,045,354. |
