Madeira Therapeutics is developing new pharmaceutical products for unmet medical needs in the pediatric population (age 12 or less) and has capabilities in formulations development, preclinical and clinical development, regulatory affairs, business development and commercialization. Madeira uses off-patent drugs of established efficacy and safety to develop new patented formulations for indications in pediatrics. All products have been previously approved for the same indication in the adult population but either do not have a pediatric indication or the approved dosage form is solid oral and Madeira seeks to develop and market a solution or suspension for the pediatric market.

KC BioMedix, Inc. is a medical device company focused on innovative solutions for neonatal feeding. KC BioMedix was established to commercialize technologies developed at the University of Kansas that assesses, provides therapy and helps develop the Non-Nutritive Suck (“NNS”) of premature infants.
